Hooters in China

There is a "Hooters" in China, which is incredibly difficult to translate into Mandarin.

A hard tenacious gem, thats more or less green; Jade. There is a certain irony attached to the idea of someone being "crazy"; in that, the realization negates the effect. A somewhat oily aspect is apparent in Jade, once polished, then its' quite capable of being carved and used.

The changes that need to occur in my lifetime are going to be unbelievable; of course assuming theres hope at all. Our governments have sedated us for long enough. They shield us from the truth at every turn. There have been more than 300 million CO2 producers built since the 50's. The CO2 that has been created has certainly altered the balance, the world is changing and humans must change with it. Our insignificance will become apparents once mother nature begins to flex her abilities.

Seems to me that a small Tsunami is an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp. There have been several earthquakes of note recently. In the year 2000 there was an earthquake in Turkey; it killed tens of thousands, at least, I remember it because Canada sent out "DART" our nations disaster relief team. If memory serves me correct it was around mid Dec. Now to my knowledge Turkey has never had earthquake issues before or perhaps this was larger. Anyone who might have information please leave a link with specifics.

Fast forward to 2 years ago, 2003, Dec.26th. Bam, Iran, 85,000+ people were killed in the worst earthquake the middle east has ever seen. Again, I dont remember the specifics about how large that was on the richter scale, but the damage was extensive. Someone feel free to correct me but I believe these both to be gigantic disasters in areas that had previously seldom seen earthquakes.

One year to the day, Dec 26th, 2004, the worlds largest disaster against humans; the Tsunami. I forget the total death toll but it was well over 120, 000, the damage has yet to be encompassed. The risk for the spread of disease is still incredible. Nothing I have been taught in history compares to that tragedy in magnitude. Today March 25th, 05 another earthquake rocked Indonesia this one measured 8.7 on the richter. These things are but a sneeze of whats to come.

Our Arctic is dissappearing at an alarming rate, polar bears and penguins will be gone in less than 50 years. We are arranging a cull of the seals that have thrived due to our murdering Killer Whales, there are 4 million seals eating their weight in cod on our shores.The inuits who use the prevailing winds to navigate through their homeland are finding themselves lost, seems the Arctic prevailing winds are no longer so prevailing. Furthermore they can no longer make igloos because the snow isnt the proper temperature; the texture of the permafrost has changed, it no longer insulates.

The "crazy" individual would percieve his/her world as completely normal. My tenacity makes me Jaded; wearied, harassed. It seems as though my oily polish has worn off leaving me more used than carved
